Arrowhead Natural Beef
We source pure-bred steers born in the U.S. and fed a 100% vegetarian diet of grass, grain and alfalfa, hay and wheat straw. We do not specify that our cattle be fed all grass or all grain as we have found that variation in their diet is beneficial to meat quality and promotes superior marbling.
Our cattle are never administered any kind of growth promotant, which includes sub-therapeutic antibiotics, growth hormones, and beta agonists. Instead, we rely on genetics, extended days on feed, and a younger harvest age to produce consistently superior beef.
