About Arrowhead
Arrowhead Specialty Meats began in 1993 (then Arrowhead Game Meats) as an ostrich meat supplier to a select number of Kansas City chefs. By 1996, local restaurants were looking for Arrowhead to supply other specialty meats as well, So, we expanded our offerings to exotic game and the highest quality beef, pork and lamb.
Having outgrown the 3,500-square-foot warehouse we occupied for three years, Arrowhead moved to a new location in 2011. A 19,000-square-foot warehouse and office space in North Kansas City became the new home for the expanding company.
Also in 2011, we gained a new distribution partner in the Dallas/Ft. Worth market, and Arrowhead Specialty Meats Texas was born.
Family owned and operated for over 20 years, Arrowhead Specialty Meats has been the premier wholesale supplier to the finest restaurants, specialty meat shops and further producers in Kansas City, St. Louis, Dallas/Ft. Worth., Houston and San Antonio.
We strive to provide the most premium products available - including Akaushi American wagyu beef, natural beef, pastured natural pork, grain fed veal, game meats, exotic meats, artisanal cheese, charcuterie provisions, specialty ingredients - plus many others!
